Exploratory Visit An exploratory visit is mandatory if you have no family or friends in Manitoba who can officially support your immigration application. If that’s the case, you must travel to Manitoba for a period of 7 to 10 days. You are responsible for covering the costs of the visit, including accommodation, food, and transportation. A meeting with a representative from the Manitoba immigration office will be arranged at the end of your visit. Only the primary applicant is required to undertake the exploratory visit, but the whole family is welcome.
